Our Tigers

Our TIGER SHARKS by Name

"Scarface"
Scarface truly is a BIG FISH, measuring a massive 4m/14ft.  She carries a large scar on the left-hand side of her face and is the more regular of the Tigers to visit.  When she's around everyone else disappears and she rules the site, happily feeding from either of the two feeders and sometimes from both on one pass.

"Doris"
Doris has only visited us once in 2004 as she normally lives in Waidroka. She was named by Doug Perrine in response to her distinctive shredded dorsal fin, as in "DORsal-lesS" and it is on that day that he took this stunning image. She is slightly smaller than our big lady Scarface who turned up on the very same dive.

"Adi"
Adi means "Lady" in Fijian. We first met her in 2005 when she was quite small and this picture was taken. Quite a character, she often gets compared to the proverbial "wrecking ball" as she is bold and very much "in your face".
An avid feeder, she will only turn up rarely - but what a show when she does! At present, she is approx 3m long and thus quite a sizeable Shark. She can be easily identified by a slight smudge on the pupil of her right eye.

"BRAT"
In June 2007, we were blessed to have an encounter with a new, small tiger shark about 9ft in length.
BRAT is named from BRoadreach Academic Treks.

"Lo"
Lo is named after our Losalini. She came with a spear gun wound in her chin, approx 3m as well.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
